On behalf of a leading manufacturer in recovery vehicles Recruitus have an exciting opportunity for a HR Manager - this is a stand-alone role, you will be the single point of contact for all HR issues and general Health and Safety.
Our client are looking for a strategic, detail orientated individual who drives HR initiatives into the business, taking ownership of projects. You will have excellent knowledge of HR legislation, policies & procedures and current best practice.
Responsibilities?
First line HR advice and support with all employee related matters.
Assist the Managing Director with resource planning, pay reviews etc.
Full cycle of recruitment from writing job descriptions, advertising, working with preferred suppliers of agencies, sifting CV's, interviewing and offering, occupational health, uniform.
Issue employment contracts, conduct inductions and monitor probationary periods.
Use the Bradford Factor to monitor sickness and absence.
Keep up to date employee monitoring documentation.
Manage performance issues and disciplinary issues.
Health and Safety - monthly workshop checks, yearly risk assessment updates, training, license renewals and escort the council for permit renewals.
General administrative tasks, employee letters, filing, emails, liaise with Rradar (our employment advisory support) etc.

Requirements
Essential Knowledge/Experience?
Proven experience in a Senior HR role.
Strong, organised and a resourceful mindset.
Microsoft Office.
Desirable Knowledge/Experience?
Manufacturing/engineering background.
CIPD or equivalent.
